Oh My Stars!

Message from the designer, Karlee Porter: I really really wanted to do a play on the Lone Star Quilt Pattern (But I did 6 sides instead of 8). It is something that I always wanted to piece but could never drum up the courage. Now I probably never will, mostly because I don’t have to! I wanted to make the composition asymmetrical to give some fun negative space to really let the quilter explore the quilting in those areas. I also wanted to do a symbolic play on the “New Baby” theme, where each star represents a mommy, daddy, and baby. I can’t wait to get this printed and make a quilt of my own! Which color way is your favorite? If you’d like it in a specific color way that isn’t listed here, just let me know and I can easily do that for you!

The fabric is color fast, will not unjustly fade and the ink will not bleed through years of washing. It is machine washable, with cold water on gentle cycle using mild detergent – tumble dry with low heat. Featuring vivid colors and crisp lines, this highly unique and versatile fabric is durable enough for both indoor and outdoor use. It has minimal stretch, and a fine weave.
