Kristi Schroeder Larson is a designer, quilter, entrepreneur, and author of Southwest Modern living in Austin, Texas, and the creative behind Initial K Studio. Kristi came to the quilting world quite accidentally through her work as a graphic designer in the corporate world. This native Texan is a world traveler who draws inspiration for her designs in art, fashion, and textiles from around the globe, as well as exploring the great outdoors. Kristi strives to merge the traditional heirloom quality of quilting with her modern style to bring joy and inspiration to the everyday lives of fellow quilters and clients, as well as generations to come.
