Leisha Farnsworth

 Leisha is thrilled to join the Honest Fabric team.  She has been sewing since she was a child, but her love for making quilts started in her early 20’s.  In the summer of 2005, Leisha started machine quilting her own quilts.  Soon the word got out and she started quilting for others.  Even with 13+ years of machine quilting experience, she loves learning new things.  Leisha started co-designing paper and digital machine quilting pantographs, in 2014 with Patricia Ritter from Urban Elementz, and has recently released some solo machine quilting digital designs on her website www.quiltingit.com.  One of Leisha’s favorite tools when she is custom machine quilting is rulers, and she recently released her own circle ruler set of 6, called “Circle2”.  They are everything that she’s ever wanted in a circle ruler.  Leisha has also taught one on one and group machine quilting classes, and loves teaching her students the techniques that have helped her in her machine quilting career.  Leisha, thanks God for the talents He has blessed her with, and is excited to see what comes next.  Leisha is excited to share her love of design in her Honest Fabric designs.  She’s drawn to a variety of different geometric designs, yet loves the softness curves can create.  Leisha graduated in interior design, and has used what she learned about color, scale, and pattern, in her designs and quilting throughout her career.  While quilting is her passion, Leisha also enjoys waterskiing, playing the piano, cooking, and spending time with her family.  She has 10 nieces and nephews, and being their aunt is her very favorite thing that she is.  Leisha lives in beautiful Cache Valley, Utah.
