Shannon Gillman Orr

Shannon Gillman Orr is a reformed architect turned type A artist, surface pattern designer, a former designer for Moda Fabrics, and author. She loves to create art that fills others with joy and happiness! Her fresh colored designs are a reflection of her love of flowers, design history, and a pursuit to continually find sunshine in dark places.

Eva Blake is her fictional pen name and a woman created to embody all of the traits a happy maker should have; bold and modern, hardworking, creative, smart, and loves to create beautiful things. She is the creator of Eva Blake’s Makery, author of best selling ultimate calendar free and self published Plan to Quilt quilt project organizer which has sold 10,000 copies.

She has recently published a 90 day workbook,  I Am Doing Better Thank I Think to help encourage everyone to find the best part of every day!

Shannon has been a business owner for the past 15 years and offers coaching to  other small creative business owners through her course Full Bloom Business for Creatives.

Originally from Arizona, she has lived on both east and west coasts and is happy to be back home in the desert of spectacular sunsets. Shannon is blessed to be a mother of two precocious young men who keep her on her toes.
