English/Hawaii Alphabet

Message from the designer, Barbara Rubio: Inspired to create baby gifts for friends and family and wanting to include a piece of Hawaiian heritage I created this alphabet that is a mix of Hawaiian and English words. Adding the pictures to associate with the words. I had lots of input from my Hawaiian friends to keep it the details accurate, such as making the whale look humpback and using a monk seal or the yellow hibiscus (state flower) not just any hibiscus. I made this panel single and a repeat of four panels to but cut into smaller infant size quilts.

Available in three distinct sizes, this custom printed quilt top is made of a 100% lightweight polyester blend. The fabric is color fast, will not unjustly fade and the ink will not bleed through years of washing. It is machine washable, with cold water on gentle cycle using mild detergent – tumble dry with low heat. Featuring vivid colors and crisp lines, this highly unique and versatile fabric is durable enough for both indoor and outdoor use. It has minimal stretch, and a fine weave.
