Message from the designer, Barbara Rubio: As a quilter living in Hawaii I get asked if I make Hawaiian quilts. Traditional Hawaiian Quilts are one large block cut from one solid piece of fabric and handsewn applique’ onto another large solid piece of fabric. There are many new ways Hawaiian Quilts are now made without hand sewing. This design was using the tradional blocks that were available under free copyright and used to create different more modern layouts. This layout is a collage using multiple blocks, sizes and shades of color repeated. The solid top was created to add a name or message to personalize.

Available in three distinct sizes, this custom printed quilt top is made of a 100% lightweight polyester blend. The fabric is color fast, will not unjustly fade and the ink will not bleed through years of washing. It is machine washable, with cold water on gentle cycle using mild detergent – tumble dry with low heat. Featuring vivid colors and crisp lines, this highly unique and versatile fabric is durable enough for both indoor and outdoor use. It has minimal stretch, and a fine weave.
