Revolution & Rebirth

Message from the designer: This original poem was born as part of a collaboration with artists from The Local Artisan Collective in Ogden, Utah. We built an instillation in the community to celebrate the opening of a new creative space called The Monarch. While this was a project for others, I was given full creative control of my part and it allowed the word to flow and heal me. The quote says: When they dare to tell you that you were not born to decide for yourself let them judge you, let them misunderstand you, let them disregard you. You are healing. You are growing. You are transforming. This is your revolution. This is your rebirth. This is a quite magic. I whisper gently to myself ‘I believe in you. Available in three distinct sizes, this custom printed quilt top is made of a 100% lightweight polyester blend. The fabric is color fast, will not unjustly fade and the ink will not bleed through years of washing. It is machine washable, with cold water on gentle cycle using mild detergent – tumble dry with low heat. Featuring vivid colors and crisp lines, this highly unique and versatile fabric is durable enough for both indoor and outdoor use. It has minimal stretch, and a fine weave.
