Specimen – Monochromatics

Message from the designer, Karlee Porter: This design is one of my absolute favorites and took me sooooo long to create! Each bug was hand drawn on my iPad Pro in an app called ProCreate. (While hand drawn, each bug was mirrored using a perfect symmetry tool.) After all the bugs were complete, I filled in some of the extra spaces with other specimens that you might find on a nature walk- twigs, leaves, and vines. Finally, I added color! So much color! The Monochromatics collection you see here of this design is one of three (the other two are: Line Art, and Rainbow 3D) So be sure to check them all out! Available in three distinct sizes, this custom printed quilt top is made of a 100% lightweight polyester blend. The fabric is color fast, will not unjustly fade and the ink will not bleed through years of washing. It is machine washable, with cold water on gentle cycle using mild detergent – tumble dry with low heat. Featuring vivid colors and crisp lines, this highly unique and versatile fabric is durable enough for both indoor and outdoor use. It has minimal stretch, and a fine weave.
